While completing his doctorate in sociocultural anthropology in 2008, Aldo was appointed Director of the Center for International Conflict Resolution at Columbia University. He has been involved in various international conflict resolution efforts throughout his career, notably in Colombia. He continues to serve as a research associate and faculty member of Columbia University’s master’s program in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. Aldo has also delivered lectures at some of the world’s top universities, including Harvard University, New York University, Princeton University, Oxford University, and the London School of Economics. Aldo has served as a trusted advisor to numerous high-profile individuals, including former President Bill Clinton, former Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi, Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim, and celebrities such as Grammy Award-winning singer Juanes and Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker.
